Dwarika’s Resort in the Dhulikhel Hills

Dwarika’s Resort is located in Dhulikhel, a picturesque little town perched in the hills of Nepal, some 30 kilometers east of Kathmandu. At an altitude of around 1,550 meters, Dhulikhel offers a pleasant climate all year round, with spectacular views of the Himalayan range. Among the peaks visible on a clear day are Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lhakpa, and occasionally even Everest. Surrounded by lush forests and green hills, the resort blends perfectly into this peaceful, natural environment. What’s more, you can discover traditional villages and rice terraces in the surrounding area.

FromKathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, private transport will take you to the complex in around 1 h to 1 h 30. The journey is a spectacle in itself! The paved roads wind through picturesque landscapes of green hills and majestic valleys. Dhulikhel’s beauty is gradually revealed as the journey progresses. The region is also rich in cultural and natural attractions. You can visit Namobuddha, a Buddhist pilgrimage site some 13 kilometers away, or explore Panauti, a historic village just 12 kilometers away, renowned for its traditional Newari architecture and ancient temples.

Each suite features Nepalese craftsmanship

The complex features several types of rooms and suites, each carefully decorated with an emphasis ontraditional Nepalese craftsmanship and local materials. Well-being and serenity are at the heart of every accommodation, with private meditation areas, cosy beds and comfortable bathrooms. Finally, personalized, attentive service will ensure that you feel special.

The Junior Suites, available with or without an adjoining terrace, offer comfortable, elegant living spaces. The one with terrace is ideal for enjoying fresh mountain air and panoramic views of the countryside. Executive Suites (up to 144 square meters for the largest) have two bedrooms. The Executive Suite with garden offers a private outdoor area of around 70 square meters.

Finally, the Royal Suite is located at one of the highest points of the complex, offering superb views. The interior extends to around 158 square meters and includes a vast terrace with an elegant outdoor lounge, for a total surface area of 312 square meters. A private kitchen, a chef available on request, and a whirlpool bath equip this suite. This is Dwarika’s Resort’s most luxurious option, and offers some of the resort’s finest views.

La Maison de Sel Gemme de l’Himalaya uses rock salt, considered the purest on Earth. It is renowned for its nutritional and healing properties, and contains over 80 beneficial minerals. The salt room, made up of 22 tons of rock salt crystals, offers treatments that boost the immune system, improve the skin and dispel negative energies. Inhaling this salty air is particularly beneficial for the respiratory system, helping those suffering from asthma and hay fever.

Chakra sound chambers

Chakra Sound Chambers are designed to balance the energy centers of the human body, in accordance with yogic philosophy and Buddhist medicine. Each chamber is dedicated to one of the seven chakras and uses color, light, sound and crystals to restore energetic balance.

Himalayan rock crystal chamber

Crystals have been used since ancient times for their beauty and healing properties. They are thought to vibrate at the same rhythm as humans, restoring balance and cleansing the aura. The room is ideal for meditation, as rock crystal promotes mental clarity and amplifies positive energies.

Batika Navagraha

The Garden of the Nine Planets, or Batika Navagraha, is inspired byHindu Vedic astrology, which asserts that the positions of the nine planets influence our lives. This garden is designed to balance these influences through a combination of trees, shrubs and herbs specific to each planet. Here you can take a stroll to harmonize your cosmic energies and, on request, consult the astrological master to deepen your understanding of the planetary effects on your life.

Meditation maze

The Meditation Labyrinth, surrounded by 84 Shiva Lingas, is a powerful spiritual space that embodies the infinity of Lord Shiva. Located at the heart of the complex, it is best experienced at sunrise. Dubo grass, renowned for its positive energies, lines the path. Walking barefoot on the fresh morning grass while meditating helps to strengthen concentration, relax the body and calm the mind.

Ping (Swing) Area

TheEspace Ping (Swing), located at the highest point of the property, is ideal for observing nature, admiring the Himalayas and savoring the peace and quiet.
