Under the sign of ecology, between sky and water
It is on the shores of Lake Garda, high above Gargnano, that stretch out the 11 hectares of natural parkland surrounding the Lago di Garda Lefay Resort & Spa.
The resort’s philosophy can be summed up as follows: respect for the environment and respect for oneself. It’s a commitment that has earned it back-to-back awards for Best European Eco-Hotel.
The resort has been designed to blend in as naturally as possible with its surroundings, and sustainable development is at the heart of its operations. The hotel uses renewable energies, notably solar and biomass.
A bio-air-conditioning system is available in all rooms, rainwater is collected to water crops and gardens, and everything is done to waste as little water as possible.

Here, Mediterranean cuisine is magnified by gastronomic touches. The famous health-giving Mediterranean diet is here transformed into a feast for the taste buds while respecting the body.
The Vital gourmet program sublimates the best products from this region blessed by the gods. Cold-pressed olive oil from the estate, citrus fruits and herbs, all locally sourced, are at the heart of this light, flavorful cuisine.
La Limonaia, the resort’s gourmet restaurant, gives a contemporary twist to Mediterranean flavors, with a waltz of fragrances and colors.
Chef Matteo Maenza ‘s 5 pillars of cuisine: Mediterranean diet, seasonality, territoriality of products, ethics and suppliers.
Some of the dishes on the menu, stamped Lefay Spa, have even been developed in association with the resort’s nutrition specialists. The result is lower-calorie dishes with less salt, detoxifying properties and an ideal cooking method for easier digestion: seasonal vegetables with pear juice and puffed quinoa; steamed turbot with white bean cream, mussels and watercress; homemade fruit sorbets. Gramen, the gourmet restaurant, offers a taste of authentic Italian cuisine, the origin of slow food.
