September 2019. A new hotel designed by Philippe Starck opened its doors this summer under the banner of wellness, with 2,000 m² dedicated to well-being. It’s a far cry from the bling bling cliché of Saint Tropez. No showing off here, the atmosphere is intentionally intimate, and the key words are: relaxation, detox, and art of living. Its residents are invited to a moment of pleasure, between refined surroundings, high-end service, and tailored fitness.” This is how the hotel presents itself on its website, advocating a resolutely avant-garde approach where well-being is placed at the center of the customer experience… “The luxury of the essential”.
Located 15 minutes from Saint Tropez in La Croix-Valmer, Lily of the Valley is a modest-sized hotel (38 rooms and 6 suites with private terraces), but its facilities are those of a grand luxury hotel, with two restaurants and two swimming pools. Its terraces overlook the sea and offer a wide view of the Mediterranean. From its position atop a hill surrounded by protected natural reserves, guests can walk to the sandy beach of Gigaro.
The 2,000-square-meter wellness center, located at the heart of the hotel, features seven treatment cabins, two steam rooms, a snow shower, a sauna, and a health-focused restaurant with vegan and vegetarian options, not to mention the superb 25-meter pool. Wellness offerings include detox programs, energy treatments, and immersive sports and yoga retreats.
