Paradero Todos Santos: bold architecture in Baja-California

Paradero Todos Santos is located on the southwest coast of the Baja-California peninsula, an hour’s drive north of the party town of Cabo San Lucas. The region is renowned for its pristine beaches, stunning desert landscapes and thriving art scene. Paradero Todos Santos is close to the Sea of Cortés, a body of water so rich in biodiversity that explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau dubbed it“the world’s aquarium”.The waters are teeming with fish and marine life. It offers exceptional opportunities for scuba diving, snorkelling andmarine wildlife observation.

To get to Paradero Todos Santos, we recommend flying into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). The drive to the resort then takes around 90 minutes. It’s a pleasant drive along the picturesque Pacific coast and through breathtaking desert landscapes. Of course, the hotel offers private transfer services, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

At first glance, the hotel may seem surprising. Designed by the Mexico-Switzerland architecture firm Yektajo & Valdez, its distinctive beige concrete structures blend harmoniously with the ochre hues of the surrounding desert. Whether you like this style or not, you have to admit that the Brutalist design is both spectacular and bold. The raw concrete outdoor spaces blend seamlessly into the landscape, creating a striking contrast with the natural surroundings.

This unique fusion of bold design and setting makes for a place as original as it is delightful.

Suites and villas: a harmonious contrast between rough concrete and natural materials

Paradero Todos Santos offers some 30 accommodations for two to three people, designed to guarantee privacy and comfort. There are two main categories: Suites and Villas Suites, all unique and personalized. Inside, a balanced mix of concrete contrasts with natural materials such as wood, rattan and fabrics. Shades of sand, olive and off-white harmonize perfectly with the “raw” look of the stone, while handmade Mexican furniture adds an authentic, local touch. This combination creates a cosy, welcoming atmosphere.

Well-being at the heart of the Paradero Todos Santos experience

Wellness is an essential part of the Paradero Todos Santos experience. The hotel offers a full range of services and facilities dedicated to relaxation and revitalization of body and mind.

The Ojo de Agua Spa: an oasis of serenity amid the palm trees

The Spa Ojo de Agua nestles in the shade of almost 100 palm trees and other endemic plants. It features hot and cold water basins, depending on your preference. Treatments are performed under palapa-style open-air structures, allowing you to reconnect with nature. Most treatments conclude with a session in the temazcal, the sweat lodge. A moment of deep purification for body and mind.

Temazcal: an ancestral healing ritual

This traditional Mexican sweat lodge, in use since pre-Columbian times, offers a deeply cleansing experience for body and mind. Guided by experienced practitioners, each session in the temazcal employs medicinal herbs and traditional chants to promote relaxation and revitalization. By participating in this ancestral ritual, you’ll experience a moment of spiritual and physical renewal in the heart of Todos Santos’ soothing nature.

Sound Healing: harmony through sound vibrations

Sound healing sessions at Paradero Todos Santos are designed to harmonize body and mind through the use of vibrations and sound frequencies. Practitioners wield a variety of instruments such as Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes and tuning forks to create sounds that resonate deeply within the body. Each sound produces specific vibrations that tend to release stress, rebalance energies and induce a state of intense meditation. In short, this ancient practice is based on the idea that sound can penetrate every cell of the body, helping to dissolve energy blockages and promote healing.

Half-Moon Pool: relax with a 360° view

The Paradero Todos Santos half-moon pool offers breathtaking panoramic views of the desert and ocean. Enjoy the day in the shade of the shade sails, or swim out to the bar for a mezcal or delicious cocktail. In the evening, warm up around a campfire while admiring the starry sky. From this privileged spot, you can contemplate the majestic mountains of the high desert and the beach of Las Palmas in the distance.

Fitness, yoga & meditation: for holistic self-care

For those wishing to maintain their fitness routine, the complex has an outdoor gym. In addition, it regularly organizes group fitness sessions, led by professional trainers, for those who prefer a collective and motivating atmosphere. Yoga and meditation classes are also offered, a great way to strengthen your body while calming your mind.

Ténoch: Mexican culinary traditions and contemporary techniques

The hotel’s Ténoch restaurant offers a concept of modern Mexican cuisine with an international twist, inspired by La Gran Tenochtitlan, the ancient Aztec city buried beneath Mexico City. The Tenoch menu features a variety of tasty dishes, highlighting regional products and the creativity of the chefs. For example, there’s the Clams Chocolata, grilled clams served with a lemongrass emulsion and basil guacamole. Or the Green Apple Aguachile, a green apple aguachile served with scallops, sweetbreads and mint.

In the morning, start your day with a hearty breakfast featuring fresh fruit, cold-pressed juices, homemade pastries and local specialties like chilaquiles or huevos rancheros. For lunch, enjoy fresh salads, tasty ceviches and gourmet tacos. All accompanied by refreshing drinks, such as aguas frescas or the house signature cocktails.

In addition to the main restaurant, the hotel also offers exclusive culinary experiences, such as private dinners under the stars, traditional Mexican cooking classes and mezcal tastings. These activities allow guests to further immerse themselves in the local culture and discover the gastronomic riches of the region.
