A private paradise for the happy few
Sa Ferradura is a 35,000 m² private island in Ibiza’s San Miguel Bay. The beautifully renovated villa offers a contemporary setting ideal for a family vacation, a gathering of friends or an exclusive event. The islet is linked to the mainland by a double-sided beach and offers spectacular sea views from the 750 m² rooftop, which includes two bars, shaded pergolas, a DJ mixer and a stage.

A dedicated team, including Michelin-starred chefs, butlers and personal assistants, is on hand 24 hours a day to meet every need and deliver a tailor-made experience.
Arriving at the grandiose front door and walking up the driveway, I was immediately aware of the majesty of this place. The 23-member Ferradura team was waiting for us outside, and we were greeted by Ulf Karow, the villa’s friendly manager. It’s a personal touch that’s much appreciated.
Luxury rooms
I was quickly shown to my room – and what luck: I had the Master Bedroom, the owner’s room, and Lionel Messi’s room. How can I describe it simply? A super king-size bed, an oversized TV, a double dressing room, direct access to the pool, and state-of-the-art Japanese toilets…
The bathroom is elegantly designed and richly marbled, with large walk-in showers and Rituals cosmetics. Majestic!
A magnificent property in every way
Villa Sa Ferradura is an architectural masterpiece that harmoniously blends contemporary design and Mediterranean essence. Clean lines, spaciousness and high-quality materials create a unique aesthetic that blends perfectly with its natural surroundings. Every detail has been carefully thought out to provide a luxurious and comfortable living environment.
Terraces and outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing and being pampered. There are two superb pools, a 23 m infinity pool surrounded by sun loungers and a lagoon-style pool nestled among the property’s tropical gardens.
The interior features an elegant Iberian ambience with warm natural textures, neutral tones and local artwork creating a relaxed atmosphere.
The large central patio is surrounded by three lounges and a dining room, all decorated in elegant Balearic style, with floor-to-ceiling windows. Multiple terraces with bars, relaxation areas and open-air dining rooms.
Other highlights of the property include a fully equipped gym, a yoga area and a wellness and spa area with Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath and bar.

The hammam-style spa is utterly decadent: oriental-inspired hanging lamps light up the space. There’s also a sauna, hammam and room for a massage, should you choose to have one here. But you could choose to have one anywhere, including on the rooftop.
A wide range of experience
I particularly enjoyed jet-skiing with my friend Jeremy. You can easily hop on one of the 4 jet-skis at the foot of the villa. The scenery is sumptuous and there is very little shipping traffic in the area. What fun!

The food served at Sa Ferradura can also be adapted to your every whim. Customers can choose what they want to eat. The dedicated team does the shopping, and the chef then creates refined dishes to perfection. I found all the dishes wonderfully executed.
